  • Introduction: Families are invited out for a great Disney flick and the chance to make a cool craft inspired from the movie.
FREE: Youth are invited out for special Movie & Craft sessions at your Mockingbird Branch where we’ll be showing some hit family-friendly flicks, and then making a craft inspired by the movie.  For our first session, join us as we watch the hit 2016 Disney flick “Moana,” with the voices of Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson. In this movie, Moana is a sea voyaging enthusiast and the only daughter of a chief in a long line of navigators.  When her island’s fishermen can’t catch any fish and the crops fail, she learns that to heal the island is to persuade Maui to return Te Fiti’s heart, so Moana sets off on an epic journey across the Pacific. This film is rated PG for peril, some scary images, and brief thematic elements and it has a run time of 1 hour and 47 minutes.  Plus, we’ll also be making some seashell necklaces too, all materials supplied. For more information, contact staff at 325-437-7323.
