Industrial Boulevard Water Line Replacement Project
Monday, January 15 will mark the beginning of water utility work on the Industrial Boulevard Water Line Replacement Project. The water utility improvements are being done prior to a street resurfacing project planned for the spring of 2018. Lupe Rubio Construction Company is the contractor and will soon begin setting up traffic control for the first phase of the utility replacement project.
The first phase of the project starts on the south side of Industrial (both eastbound lanes) between South Danville Drive and Sayles Boulevard. Construction along Industrial will be done in phases progressing east along Industrial and ending at Treadaway Boulevard. It is anticipated that phase I construction will take about 2 weeks to complete. Traffic controls will direct eastbound traffic into the inside westbound lane, and all westbound traffic will use the outside westbound lane. Other minor traffic control measures may be necessary during certain stages of construction in this work zone.
