Ceremony to Mark Completion of Elm Creek Pedestrian Bridge
The City of Abilene will have a ceremony on Monday, March 26 at 2:00 PM to mark the completion of the Elm Creek Pedestrian Bridge.
“The new pedestrian bridge is a significant improvement for Abilene's residents,” said Interim Assistant City Manager Michael Rice. “The installation of this bridge provides a safe passageway for pedestrians of all ages and abilities over Elm Creek.”
The pedestrian bridge was installed by Justice Construction Inc. and was completed within budget of $352,435.60.
The ceremony will take place at the north end of the pedestrian bridge at 2010 South Clack. Parking will be in the Elm Creek Ranch Apartments south parking lot in the south lots facing Elm Creek.
