We offer a great lineup of activities for teens; no registration needed (unless noted).  Come out and join us, bring a friend, and make some new ones.

CHESS CLUB

If you're a teen with an interest in playing chess you may want to become a part of our Chess Club.  Meeting twice a month, participants will not only challenge their peers to friendly games, but we'll also learn new techniques, watch demonstrations, possibly hear from guest speakers, and develop new skills through video.

DUNGEONS & DRAGONS GAMING

If you enjoy going on epic adventures in one of the longest-running role-playing games of all time, be a part of the Dungeons & Dragons gaming sessions at your library. We'll offer weekly sessions for teens and adults to join us for gameplay. All skill levels welcome.

FANDOM CLUB

Families are invited to join the library for a monthly coloring club session designed to promote family bonding through coloring activities. We will supply the coloring pages and materials, but you can feel free to bring in your own if you'd like. Plus, attend a Preschool Storytime session immediately following this program.

IMAGINATION LAB SERIES

Designed for youth and teens ages 8+, this series offers STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) activities and opportunities for participants to get hands-on with tasks designed to foster critical thinking and learning.  All supplies will be provided to lead you through various projects, all as a means to educate youth, while having fun.

LEGO CLUBS

If you enjoy building, come be a part of these regular club offerings where you can work on projects solo, or team up for group projects.  A great way to spend time with friends, and make new ones.

LIB-CON @ YOUR LIBRARY

Hosted each Spring, all ages are invited to be a part of the festivities.  Celebrating manga, anime, comics, superheroes, fandoms, and more, a committee at your library will put together a great lineup of programming to take advantage of, including our fun Cosplay Contest.  For more information about Lib-Con, visit our Official Page on our website.
 
MOVIE SHOWINGS

Join your library branches for a regular lineup of popular movies with teen appeal.  Light snacks are served, or feel free to bring your own outside food. Visit our Movie Schedule for a complete lineup of upcoming movie showings.

LIBRARY TOURS FOR SCHOOLS

Tours are available for any group wishing to obtain a better understanding of the library's services. We're also happy to coordinate with local schools for the library to visit to attend events or classes to speak about what we do. Call to setup a time, or for more information.

POKEMON MEETUP

Pokemon is not only a popular anime for all ages, it's also a fun trading card game and weekly sessions are hosted for players of all skill levels. Teens and adults, ages 13 and older, play for 2-3 hours each Sunday, battling other Pokemon to see who will be the victor. Come see if you can survive the game.

STUDY HALL

Hosted during the regular school year, if you're a local student looking for a place to study, or to complete some last minute homework and projects before the start of the school week, the Study Hall session is for you. Laptops will be available for use and staff will be handy if you have any questions.

SUMMER READING CLUBS

The Summer Reading Clubs run every June and July and feature a different state theme. During this time of year, not only will teens get the opportunity to take part in a great reading club, but they'll have access to even more programming. TEEN AFTER HOURS

After hours programming offers a fun opportunity for teens to come together to engage in a host of fun activities after the library has closed from the evening. Popular events from the past have ranged from movie nights, craft sessions, painting parties, Nerf Fights, fandom parties, and much more.
