City Recreation Centers will be closed through April 30. We hope to resume after school programming when AISD and WISD resume normal schedule.
2020 Summer Camps
Here comes the fun at the City of Abilene Parks and Recreation Summer Camp for 2020! We have a variety of themed camps that will keep the kids learning and having fun this summer. Our camps offer a safe and nurturing place to play fun recreation games, opportunities to learn and discover, and make lifelong friends. With 24 new camps operating every two weeks you’re sure to find something for your child.
These summer camps are open to kids ages 6-13. Sessions 1-5 are two week sessions that cost $85 per child, while session 6 is one week and costs $50 per child. Financial assistance is offered on a limited basis, and you can apply for this below in the section about financial assistance for camps. Registration opens March 2, and you can register online at www.abilenetx.gov/signup!
For more information about each individual camp, please refer to the Summer Camp Booklet below! And for more detailed information about the camps, staffing, registration, and policies, please refer to the parent handbook by clicking here.
