The Purchasing Division assists City departments with purchasing equipment, materials, supplies and services by seeking competitive sealed bids.

Welcome to the Abilene Marshal's Division. We have been serving the City of Abilene since 1882 when Abilene was still a cow town.

The City of Abilene Municipal Court is a non-court of record and is the Judicial Branch of the city government.

Unclaimed Property
Finance Administration
Finance Administration is responsible for the supervision, administration and overall planning of the City's financial activities. The division is also responsible for idle fund investment, debt management, budget preparation and execution and preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).
Accounting
The Accounting Division continues to strive to provide quality financial services to citizens as well as employees. We continue to be impacted by changes required by the Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB).
