Build a stronger future for Abilene by:

• Encourage increased tourism that brings in new dollars to the city
• Help small businesses maintain/grow
• Invest in economic development projects to grow the economy
• Invest/maintain the city's infrastructure
• Promote a clean city (it is smart economically and good for business)
• Support cultural opportunities/quality of life projects
• Support the skilled/sustainable labor force to attract new business and retain young citizens

• Created 14 ornament series for KTB bringing in over $1 million for the environment
• The initiator of the Abilene historic miniature buildings for the Abilene Preservation League
• Member of Grace Steering Committee that saved Grace
• Motivational Speaker
• Past President of Abilene Convention and Visitor Bureau
• Past President of Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) - currently Emeritus Board Member
• Past President Society for the Preservation of Quaint Old Homes
• Promotor of 1997-98 Crape Myrtle campaign selling 13,369 in Abilene and surrounding area
