Be a part of Retro Flix at your library, the bi-monthly movie series where we show hit flix from the 80s and 90s to relive the popular movies of the past. At this session, we’ll be going back to 1993 and showing a sports movie, based on a true story, titled “Rudy” starring Sean Astin in the title role. In this film, Rudy has always dreamed of leaving his steel ill town and playing football at Notre Dame. There were only a couple of problems. His grades were low, his athletic skills were poor, and he was only half the size of the other players. But he had the drive and spirit of five people and has set his sights on doing whatever it took to be a part of the team. This film is rated PG for mild language and has a run time of 1 hour and 54 minutes.
