Youth and families are invited out to the library as we recognize this national initiative to celebrate being able to read.
Kids and parents are invited to come to your Main Library as we celebrate Read Across America Day. First initiated in 1998, this reading program is one that calls upon everyone to read and engage with children to help make reading a more fun and interactive experience. It’s a day to celebrate the privilege of being able to read. Come join us on this day as we share some of our favorite stories about the joy of reading. Plus, we’ll supply you with the materials so you can color a banner to show off your favorite book.
