Project STEAM: Cup Gliders

School-aged youth are invited to meetup in the afternoon where library staff will supply the materials to engage in a fun STEAM project.

Join your Mockingbird Branch for a new school-aged event focusing on STEAM activities to get involved in each month. STEAM refers to science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics and each Project STEAM session will focus on a single project illustrating one of these principles. At this session, guests are welcome to come and go as they finish the project where we’ll be supplying youth with the materials to create some Cup Gliders that will appear to defy the laws of gravity!
