Meetup at the library for an afternoon showing of a cult classic from Tim Burton that meshes Halloween with Christmas.

Visit your South Branch Library to attend our monthly Saturday Matinee session where we show hit movies from the past and present to enjoy. Usually aimed at the teen and adult audiences, everyone is welcome to come out for this cult classic showing of 1993’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” from the mind of Tim Burton. In this animated classic, Jack Skellington, king of Halloween Town, discovers Christmas Town, but his attempts to bring Christmas to his home causes much confusion. This film is rated PG for some scary images and has a run time of 1 hour and 16 minutes. Feel free to bring your own snacks to enjoy.
