Project STEAM: Baking Soda Boats

School-aged youth are invited out for a great STEAM activity demonstrating how to use chemistry to power a boat.

Join your Mockingbird Branch for a new school-aged event focusing on STEAM activities to get involved in each month. STEAM refers to science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics and each Project STEAM session will focus on a single project illustrating one of these principles. At this session, guests are welcome to come and go as they finish the project where we’ll be supplying youth with the tools to make Baking Soda Boats. Come learn how you can use chemistry to power a small boat.
