[ARCHIVED] Pedestrian Killed by Train

ABILENE, TX – A 35-year-old Abilene man was killed when he was struck by a train on Thursday, March 10, 2022, just after 7 p.m. The incident happened near E. Highway 80 and the Judge Ely underpass, along the train tracks. Initial reports indicate the male was on the tracks when he was struck by the train.

 Next of kin notification has been made. The man is identified as Curtis Lee Proctor, of Abilene. This is being conducted as a Death Investigation.
