[ARCHIVED] Abilene Man Arrested for Burglary of Habitation with the Intent to Commit a Sexual Offense

ABILENE, TX – Police arrested a 24-year-old Abilene man and charged him with Burglary of Habitation with the Intent to Commit a Sexual Offense.

 On Tuesday, August 23, at approximately 10:40 a.m. Police were called out to a residence in the 1300 Block of Amarillo Street after a resident stated a person unknown to them entered their home, assaulted them, stole items, and fled the scene. 

 Officers searching in the area located a person matching the description and brought him into the station for questioning. 24-year-old Braden Andrew Harris was arrested and charged with First Degree Felony Burglary of Habitation with Intent to Commit a Sexual Offense and Second Degree Felony Burglary of Habitation for another home break-in reported earlier the same day.
