– Abilene Police arrest a 40-year-old Abilene man for Aggravated Robbery. Daniel Lee Rodriguez was arrested on November 4, 2022, by detectives with the Major Investigations Bureau.
On Friday, November 4, 2022, at 2:15 p.m., a man entered a cellular phone store located in the 3200 block of North First Street, threatened employees with some type of weapon, and demanded money from the store employees. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
Patrol responded, canvassed the area, and Major Investigations detectives were also called out. Evidence was collected in the subsequent investigation tying Rodriguez to the Robbery. He was charged with 1st Degree Felony Aggravated Robbery and transported to the Taylor County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
