We all enjoy the experience of going out to see a movie with friends & family. Did you know your South Branch Library offers a monthly movie day for all to enjoy? Playing popular flicks from the present and past, we invite you to join us on the second Saturdays of each month for movies at your library.
Two sessions are hosted on these Saturdays featuring a family-friendly movie showing at 11:00AM (movies rated G & PG), then there’s an afternoon showing of popular films rated PG-13 at 2:30PM. The lineup changes each month, but everyone may participate in the movie fun hosted in the meeting room of the library.
If attending one of the showings, guests are encouraged to bring their own drinks and snacks to enjoy the movie with. Outside food is allowed as long as they remain inside the meeting room during the movie. And best yet, it’s completely free to attend all movie showings.
Join us for our next session on Saturday, August 12 where we’ll be showing “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” at 11:00AM for the Family Flix selection. The Saturday Matinee offering at 2:30PM will be “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.” For more information about our movie sessions at your South Branch Library, contact Alyssa Crow at 325-698-7565 or via email at Alyssa.Crow@abilenetx.gov.
