Abilene Man Arrested for Child Pornography


Local police arrested a 23-year-old Abilene man for possessing child pornography. On Wednesday, May 6, 2020, the Abilene Police Department Cyber Crimes in conjunction with Dyess Air Force Base’s Office of Special Investigations, executed a search and arrest warrant at a residence located in the 400 block of Avenue D on Dyess AFB.

Yi Huang (23 yoa), was arrested at the location and charged with Second Degree Felony Promotion of Child Pornography. Huang is accused of downloading and uploading child pornography through the use of the internet. Electronic evidence was seized during the search of the residence and vehicle. Huang was transported to the Taylor County jail.
