[ARCHIVED] Structure Fire: 2400 Block of Buffalo Gap Road

On May 13, 2020 at approximately 1:50 p.m., the Abilene Fire Department responded to a two-alarm structure fire located  in the 2400 block of Buffalo Gap Road. Fire crews arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the 1st floor of the two-story apartment complex. The fire was quickly controlled which limited the damage to two apartments. All occupants were able to exit the structure with no injuries. Fire investigation revealed the cause of the fire to be accidental due to a grease fire on the stove top.
