Police Seek Information on Suspected Child Sexual Abuser

ABILENE, TX – On Thursday, June 4, 2020, Abilene Police Detectives arrested 55-year-old James Graenser of Abilene for First Degree Felony Continuous Sexual Assault of a Child. He was arrested at his residence located in the 2300 block of South 33rd Street in Abilene. Graenser was transported to the Taylor County Jail. His bond is set at $400,000. Abilene Police detectives believe there may be other child victims and are asking anyone whose child may have had contact with Graenser to call the Abilene Police Department at (325) 676-6610. This investigation is ongoing.
