[ARCHIVED] Structure Fire: 3000 Block of Clinton

On June 8th, 2020, at approximately 11:30 p.m., the Abilene Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 3000 block of Clinton. Fire crews arrived to find a single story dwelling with nothing showing. Fire crews investigated the interior of the structure where they found smoke from a fire that had self-extinguished. Crews were able to ventilate the structure and make sure all the fire was out. Damage to the interior was light. All occupants were able to exit the structure and there were no reported injuries. The damage to the structure was estimated at $500. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
