The Abilene Police Department are looking for a suspect who stabbed a female while attempting to steal her vehicle. On Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at around 1:30 p.m. a female reported that a white male wearing a white tank top, had attempted to steal her vehicle while she was inside of it but was unsuccessful. When she resisted, he stabbed her in the abdomen. She then drove to a nearby motor bank where she asked for help. A witness called for police dispatch. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance and treated for her stab wound.
Police are investigating and asking anyone who may have seen anything in the area of North 8th and Hickory at around 1:30 on Wednesday, July 1, where the incident occurred, to contact the Abilene Police Department at (325) 673-8331.
