– Abilene Police Cyber Crimes in conjunction with the Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division arrested a 41-year-old Abilene man. On Wednesday, July 22, 2020, detectives executed a search and arrest warrant at a home located in the 6300 Block of Live Oak Trail in South Abilene. Bryan Edwards (41 yoa), was arrested during the investigation. He is charged with State Jail Felony Possession and Promotion of Lewd Visual Material Depicting a Child. He is accused of having lewd pictures of a young girl. He was arrested and transported to the Taylor County Jail. This investigation is ongoing.
