Multiple Vehicle Crash in North Abilene

ABILENE, TX – The Abilene Police Department Traffic Division is investigating a multi-vehicle crash that sent four people to the hospital with two being air-lifted to the Metroplex with serious injuries.

On Thursday, October 8, 2020, just after 11 p.m., a blue Dodge Charger was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Ambler Avenue. A blue PT Cruiser was heading north on Treadaway and was turning onto Ambler with a green light and was struck by the oncoming Charger, which disobeyed the red light. After colliding with the PT Cruiser, the Charger proceeded into the oncoming lane, striking a white Cadillac. The Charger rolled onto its top, ejecting the driver before coming to rest on Ambler.

 The occupants are as follows:

PT Cruiser – driven by 27-year-old Anthony Carrasco of Abilene. Sole occupant.

Cadillac – driven by 21-year-old Sema’J Davis of Abilene. Sole occupant

Dodge Charger – driven by 19-year-old Simon Secundino of Abilene (not wearing seatbelt), passenger 17-year-old female (was wearing seatbelt), and possibly a third passenger who may have fled the scene.

All four involved were transported to the hospital with injuries. The driver of the Cadillac, Senaj Davis, and the driver of the Charger, Simon Secundino, were both care-flighted to the Metroplex with serious injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation, and no citations have been issued and no arrests.
