On November 2, 2020 at approximately 08:59 a.m., the Abilene Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire in the 2500 block of Woodridge Street. Crews arrived to find a back porch of wood construction on fire. Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the porch fire, preventing extension into the structure.
