On February 2, 2021 at approximately 6:30 pm, the Abilene Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire in the 200 block of Arnold Blvd. Crews arrived to find a mobile home with smoke showing. Crews made a quick transitional attack on the fire and had it under control within minutes. The residents were able to self evacuate with no injuries. The Red Cross was notified and arrived on scene to assist with the residents. The cause of the fire was determined to be electrical and the estimated value of damage is $10,000.
