On April 5, 2021, at approximately 10:07 AM., AFD units responded to a residential structure fire located in the 1200 block of locust Street. Crews arrived to find a detached garage with smoke and flames showing. The first in crews made a fast attack and quickly extinguished the fire. A resident was home at the time and was advised of the fire by neighbors. The resident was not injured and able to evacuate the residence without incident. The cause of the fire remains under investigation estimated value of damage is $5000.00.
