The Meeting Room is the primary space utilized for library programming and workshops. This room offers a great deal of amenities including a space that can seat 72 people comfortably. 20 tables are also offered, seating fewer guests if utilized. This room offers access to three 75" televisions that are operated by a wall port where you can connect to them with computers by means of a PC port or HDMI connection. All three televisions will display the same content, making it easy for the room to view any film or presentation.
The room is also equipped with a VDesk studio setup and four mounted cameras that can be used for filming programming conducted in the room. This studio is operated by the Technology/Multimedia staff and is available upon request. Nine handheld microphones are available for use and available upon request.
The meeting room also comes with a kitchen equipped with great storage space, a sink (no garbage disposal), a dishwasher, and a refrigerator. Staff utilizes this room regularly when conducting programming that involves food and refreshments, and its available for outside groups who book the room as well.
The meeting room is available for use during the library's hours of operation. Priority is given to library programming; however, outside groups are able to rent this space too. Use of the room is free for non-profit groups and $25 per hours, and an optional $25.00 fee if needing to utilize the VDesk studio system.
