  9. Saturday Matinee: "Volcano"

    April 24, 2021, 2:30 PM - 4:15 PM @ Meeting Room

Catch a great movie during the South Branch Library’s Saturday Matinee event where we play great hits. At this session we’ll be showing 1997’s “Volcano” starring Tommy Lee Jones and Anne Heche. In this film, something unspeakably chilling is ultimately starting to heat up at the City of Los Angeles. Beneath the famed La Brea Tar Pits, a raging volcano has formed, raining a storm of deadly fire bombs and an endless tide of white-hot lava upon the stunned city. This film is rated PG-13 for intense depictions of urban disaster and related injuries, and it has a run time of 1 hour and 44 minutes. Feel free to bring your own snacks, and for additional information, contact staff at 325-698-7565.
