  1. Zoo Lady Visit

    July 7, 2020, 3:00 PM - 3:45 PM @ 2nd Floor, Auditorium

    If you have a child that loves animals, you won’t want to miss our summer visit from the Joy Harsh (aka the Zoo Lady) and her animal ambassadors from the Abilene Zoo. This popular program allows youth to not only learn about some of the animals that live at the zoo, but you can get up close and personal with some of them too at the end of the program. Limited seating will be available to the first 50 participants to meet the regulation of no more than 50% capacity of the room. For more information, contact Ellene Cudd at 325-676-6067.

    Calling all teens. If you have a fandom you love, and we know you know, then you’re invited to be a part of the Fandom Club at your Main Library. At these sessions, you’re invited to meetup at the Teen Zone to meet other fans, discuss your fandoms, create fandom based art, play fandom games, and so much more.   1. Toddler Time at South Branch

    July 7, 2020, 11:15 AM - 11:45 AM @ Meeting Room

    Designed for youth ages 2-3, Toddler Times are designed for children (and parents) who are ready to sit and listen to longer stories and to help prepare them for all other youth programming offered at the library.  Limited seating will be available for the first 30 participants to meet the regulation of no more than 50% capacity of the room space.
