Family Flix: "Teen Titans GO!: To the Movies"

Kids and parents are invited to join your South Branch Library for a great mid-morning movie. This time we’re watching 2018’s “Teen Titans GO! To the Movies” with the voices of Greg Cipes and Scott Menville. In this film, a villain’s maniacal plan for world domination sidetracks five teenage superheroes who dream of Hollywood stardom. This film is rated PG for action and rude humor and has a run time of 1 hour and 24 minutes. Light snacks will be served, or feel free to bring your own snacks to the show. Saturday Matinee: "X-Men"

Catch a great movie during the South Branch Library’s Saturday Matinee event where we play great hits. At this session we’ll be showing 2000’s “X-Men,” one of the earliest live-action superhero franchises to hit the market at the time, and starring a great lineup of actors including Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, and more. In this film, in a world where mutants (evolved super-powered humans) exist and are discriminated against, two groups form for an inevitable clash: the supremacist Brotherhood, and the pacifist X-Men. This film is rated PG-13 for sci-fi action violence and has a run time of 1 hour and 44 minutes. Light snacks will be served, or feel free to bring in your own snacks and food for the movie.
