  1. Super Storytime: Farm Animals

    Families are invited out for a wonderful Super Storytime at your library. The Summer Reading Club is all about Tails and Tails, and so will our Super Storytime which is all about Farm Animals. Do you have a favorite? Come out to listen to funny stories, sing silly songs, and have fun with puppets. Plus, we’ll be making some farm animals magnets as a craft, plus we’ll be supplying the materials needed too.

  2. ABCD's of Medicare

    If it’s time for you to sign-up for Medicare, and you don’t know where to begin, be sure to register and attend a free Medicare Class at your Abilene Public Library. Multiple sessions will be hosted each month and led by specialists Jennifer Walter & Breanna Maichel. Each session will run up to 1-hour long and designed with the goal of providing seniors with the tools needed to be able to make the right decisions going into Medicare. From understanding the parts of Medicare to prescription drug plans, learning how to enroll to reviewing health plans, you’ll be sure to get all the answers you need.     Have a favorite comic, superhero, TV show, fandom? Teens are invited to come express themselves at the Teen Zone for this week’s Teen Time session. We’ll supply you with all the materials needed so you can transform some colorful beads into Pixel Art!. It’s easier than you think, and they turn out great when introduced to a little heat. Don’t pass out on this fun afternoon activity during the Summer Reading Clubs.
