    Business Expo is the Abilene Chamber of Commerce's annual high-energy trade show where businesses and consumers connect in a dynamic business-to-business atmosphere. Presented by the Abilene Business Council, this signature event of the Chamber is a great opportunity to gain new leads, customers, and to give your brand visibility in the Big Country marketplace. Although this year will look different due to COVID-19, this is still an ideal venue to introduce a new product or service or reacquaint the business community with your company.

At this session, we’ll supply you with the materials needed to show you how to make your own Watercolor Nature Silhouettes. Come be surprised at what you can do with your own hands!

  3. Teen Job Skills

    We’re partnering with Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas for an afternoon of learning to build better job searching skills. You may be getting to that age where you’re looking for your first job, but you might not know what to expect. This workshop will help you to look for a job, what to expect when you go into a job interview, and how to put together a resume. Free for all attendees, we encourage all interested teens to come ready to pick up some new skills at your library.

    Youth are invited out to the library for STEAM fun. STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics, and activities will be centered around having youth engage in critical thinking to complete various projects and activities.
